GENERATING BIOGAS IN A SUSTAINABLE WAY
ELECTRICITY PRODUCTION
Botres Global’s biogas plants efficiently convert a wide range of organic waste and residue materials into valuable renewable energy through anaerobic digestion.
This process not only reduces waste but also generates biogas—a versatile energy source that can be used to produce green electricity.
Biogas offers a key advantage over renewable sources like solar or wind power: it is available 24/7 and can be used in a wide range of applications.
By producing green electricity, Botres Global actively contributes to climate protection and helps address the current energy crisis.
FROM BIOGAS TO ELECTRICITY
Once the anaerobic digestion (AD) process is completed, the biogas produced can be used in a biogas engine, which drives a combined heat and power (CHP) generator. This system enables efficient electricity production, which can be fed into the national electricity grid, enhancing the overall energy supply.
In addition to electricity, the heat generated as a byproduct of this process can serve multiple functions. It helps maintain the optimal temperature within the digesters, ensuring consistent biogas production, and can also be used to heat buildings and facilities, making the system highly resource-efficient and adaptable.
