We are proud to announce that Botres Global is now producing biogas made in Austria. After intensive negotiations, we have recently acquired a 70% stake in the successful ÖSG GmbH, which will continue to operate the biogas plant in Stocking, Wildon.
Until now, ÖSG has primarily operated the plant using agricultural substrates and residual materials such as manure, silage, and agricultural waste products, generating around 500 kW of electrical power. With our involvement and expertise, we plan to transition the plant to biomethane production in the future.
Biogas from organic waste
At Botres Global, we place great importance on processing only organic waste and residual materials that are already present as waste products. We completely avoid the use of food and feed crops. Our advanced technology allows us to efficiently convert almost any type of organic waste into green gas. This approach gives us a significant competitive advantage in the biogas market.
Retrofitting to organic waste
We recognize that there is still potential for further development at the Stocking plant. In the near future, we will carefully explore the possibilities for increased conversion to biogenic residual materials and waste, in collaboration with the ÖSG GmbH team. Our goal is to apply and advance our innovative technology in Austria to create a sustainable and green future for our homeland
Wir dürfen uns auf wegweisende Fortschritte von Botres Global freuen, die einen bedeutenden Beitrag zur nachhaltigen EnWe can look forward to groundbreaking progress from Botres Global, which will make a significant contribution to sustainable energy production in Austria. Together with ÖSG GmbH, we are committed to a livable future and a responsible energy transition.
